Sweden demands why weapons sold to Venezuela are in FARC hands
IN THE HEADLINES: Sweden asks Venezuelan authorities to explain themselves after discovering weapons the Swedish corporation Saab Bofors Dymanics sold to the Venezuelan army were being used by the FARC. Venezuela responded saying it's a dirty and vulgar campaign to discredit their government. Colombian military finds the body of Luis Eli Baron, second commander of the FARC's 43rd front, found among the ruins of a bombed ecampment in La Macarena, Meta. The main objective of the FARC's 43rd front is to protect top commander Mono Jojoy, who now only has 12 trusworthy people. Sixteen of his personal body guards were killed in the bombing.
