Jeep races and wooden handicrafts at decades-old Colombian Festival

FINLANDIA, QUINDIO: The Fiesta del Canasto was held over the holiday weekend, featuring regional handicrafts made of bejuco wood, and a very popular Jeepao competition. Teams of contestants worked to see who could push a Jeepao up the city's main hill in the shortest amount of time. Jeepaos are typical jeeps from Colombia's coffee country, used to carry bags of beans.
